Monday Memories Week 7

My last few days in WA were filled with laughs, smiles, and all around fun :) Well, my whole trip was fun, as hopefully you can see by my previous blog posts.
On my last Sunday, I was able to get a picture with Kate.
She is awesome!
Thank you, Kate, for taking a picture with me!
Ya, this is me being goofy, as always. The hat and wristers (arm warmers) were made for me by Laura, and she is in the process of making a matching scarf. I can't wait to try them all out this winter. THANK YOU LAURA!!
Hopscotch, anyone?

On Wednesday, I was on Facebook goofing off and my cousin started messaging me. As it turns out, we were both in the same city in WA at the same time. He and his girlfriend came over to Laura's to visit me! It was so good to talk with him and get caught up. We haven't seen each other for at least 6 years. Love you, Josh!
If you remember the post with the blankets we made, there was some left over fabric from said blankets, so we decided to make some matching pillows. Since I was flying home the next day, we didn't stuff my pillows, but sewed them so they would fit in my suitcase.

That night, we went to the YW activity which was a baby shower for one of the leaders in YW. The next two pictures were taken by Nancy, the YW President.

The view from her back yard. Yes, she has a river going past her house. Near the beginning of my trip, this river actually flooded and water came up close to her house. Luckily, the river got cleaned out and the water receded.
Leave it to me to set a good example for all the YW there:
Yum. LOL. Wondering what I put in my mouth?
This yummy little fruit treat. In fact, the pictures of me putting this in my mouth are from the second time I did it!
I even got Laura to do it :D
This is my favorite picture:
Thursday morning I packed everything up and got a ride to the airport. My flight home was uneventful. I got picked up at the airport by my sister, then taken to my mom's house where there was a sign up on the house welcoming me home, and a surprise dinner.
Friday I got to go to work for part of the day, then I came home and chilled (watched tv). Friday night I stayed up talking to Laura while she was working on her next workshop projects.
Saturday I ran a few errands and got my hair cut, then went to dinner at my parent's.
I can't remember anymore the order that we saw these movies, but here are the last ones I saw:

Along with watching the Sherlock Holmes movies, we also watched the first season of the tv show Sherlock, with Benedict Cumberbatch. Not movies necessarily, but still good entertainment :)

Overall, I had a wonderful trip to WA. I love going there. It is a time for me to relax, and not worry about life and what is going on in Utah. I made many new friends who I can't wait to see again.
I am very appreciative of Laura and James for letting me into their home for the length of my visit. I am grateful to the Clark's Creek Ward for accepting me with open arms and making me feel a part of their ward.
