Monday Memories Week 6

Since it has been longer than a week since I posted last (even tho the date doesn't say s0), I will try to remember all that happened. Laura, if you read this and remember something I forgot, let me know so I can add it in :)
We spent the first half of the week hanging out around home and just doing whatever we wanted to do. On Wed, we went to the park, and it was a beautiful day to do so!

Malcolm trying to scare me

It makes me sad that people have no respect for property that is not their own. Someone melted a hole in this slide. Not sure how, but it's sad.
While we were there, the kids found a guy who had these cool whirly-gig toys and he was nice enough to let them play with them. It was fun watching them shoot them up and try to catch them again.

Later that night, I went with Laura to the YM/YW service activity. We cleaned up a yard of a man in the ward. With everyone working together, it did not take very long before it was all done and looking nice.

After we were done, Laura realized she didn't have her keys anymore... so we got to go 'yard waste' diving. We found her keys in a pile of trash after we emptied half of the can back onto a tarp on the grass.
Here we are after finding the keys. I was going to try and use the clippers to cut my toenails... but I still would have had to try and bend over. Haha.
The gentleman who's yard we cleaned, had this on his car, parked out front: Totally awesome!
It seems that when I am visiting in WA, the kids' toys become alive and move around to different 'hiding' places. This is just one of the many places this clone trooper chose to hide out.
Here is the cross stitch I worked on after the frog one. Can you tell what it is? This is all of the cross stitching I had to do, the rest was back stitching.
Here it is after all the back stitching
and in the frame. It's going to hang in my bathroom :)
I know there were movies we watched, but I can't remember which ones anymore. I do have a list of movies, so I will just post about the rest of the movies in my next post.
