Huh...

Well, for as late as I've been staying up every night, you would think that I could be on the ball and update my blog. Sadly, I end up watching TV and working on my cross stitch. Tonight, I just had to make public that I have a bad habit.
I stay up way too late.
Last night, I was up until... ya, not gonna say what time ;) and since I was so tired when I went to bed, I forgot to set my alarm. I didn't wake up until I got a text from my sister, who was asking me if I was OK - because I pretty much missed church. Oops.
By the time I got out of the shower and dressed, there was only half an hour left, so I stayed home and practiced choir music instead.
I don't know why I end up staying up so late. I am plenty tired around 10, but just can't get off the couch to go to bed. I don't like it, and I'm not sure how to fix it. For example: tonight. I put a lot of my books out into my bookshelf, then sat down for a minute to look at a family history book. Before I knew it, it's after 10 and I think ' OK, tonight, I am getting to bed early!' I start turning off lights, and since I had music playing on my computer, sit on the couch to turn off the music. "Oh, I should check my email really quick". So I check my email, then I check Facebook. I check my bank account, look at my queue on Hulu, check Facebook again (nothing changed), look at any new blogs that were posted, and here we are... my music is still playing, and I am still sitting on the couch - telling myself to go to bed.
Trying to not turn on the TV or watch 'just one episode' on my Hulu queue. This is not healthy. I want it to stop. How do you make yourself just get up and go to bed??
If you actually made it to the end of this post, you are brave. This is the type of rambling I'm prone to this late at night when I am so tired. It just goes on and on and almost feels like it will never end.
On a very positive note: I am almost ready to post pictures of my new apartment! I have taken pictures before construction, during construction, after construction, and am waiting for a few more things to be put up or organized before I take current pictures. I know you're all waiting... so I'll try to not keep you waiting much longer.
Well, I'm off (to check Facebook again, and probably my email again) to bed!
