I know it's been a long time since I've posted, and I have a lot of pictures and "catching up" to do... I just need to find the time to do it. *Sigh.
Until then, here is a quote from Einstein that I'd like to share:
"Any fool can know. The point is to understand."
I have many thoughts about this statement, and most of them are about myself. I 'know' a lot of things, but I don't 'understand' very many of them. I 'know' I will be married someday, but I don't 'understand' why I'm not there yet. I 'know' that I do a good job at my job, but I don't 'understand' why other people don't see it differently. I 'know' that eating healthy, exercising, and thinking positive thoughts will help me lose weight, but I don't 'understand' why it takes forever for it to happen ;)
I also know that I do 'understand' things that I 'know'. I 'understand' and 'know' why there are speed limits when you are driving. I 'understand' and 'know' what it feels like to have your heart crushed by someone you loved. I 'understand' and 'know' that I don't 'know' and 'understand' everything there is to know and understand :)
Blah blah blah. Anyone reading this have a different take on this quote? I'd like to hear what you have to say!
