Indexing Goal

So today I started indexing. For anybody unfamiliar with it, I'm not sure exactly how to describe it... I 'download' to my computer handwritten papers, then I transfer whatever information is needed to a form, then 'submit' it back to the people who sent it to me... the whole point is to transfer information from handwritten form to computer form. (I hope that made some kind of sense...)
I indexed 301 names today. I set a goal for myself to index 1,000 names by next Sunday. I may have been a little 'over the top' but I didn't want to set the bar too low ;) It is really quite interesting. I've been doing WWII Registration Papers from Arkansas and Louisiana. I have found two people that share my birthday (of course, they were born in the mid-late 1800's) and a lot of interesting names.
I'm excited to continue this work and hope that I don't get 'burned out' of it soon... cuz it's fun - and infinitely better to be doing than playing Plants vz Zombies. HAHAHAHAHA.
I'll post next week how I did - If I met my goal or not.
