On the 11, our 6th grade had their Valentine's Dance. It is tradition, and I always poke my head in and watch for a little bit. They always have so much fun.
They do line dances, snowball dances, swing, country two-step, parent dances, boy choice, girl choice, and dance showcases. It's very fun.
On the 13th, I had a movie day at Stacey's house. She is a recent bird owner. He was scared of me, so I could never get a really good picture. He had lots of names... Beaky, Popsicle (given by his family), Gil, Henry, and probably George (because I could never remember his name. LOL)
Very cute bird.
On the 16th there was a scouting/ward party. Both my parents are in scouts
and both my youngest brothers.
We had a special visitor, Holly, come and we learned all about her. Such a great bird!!
On the 20, a few of my siblings and cousins got together at my apartment for a movie day. It was a lot of fun. We watched 5? movies and ate food and just goofed around.
My niece and nephew are so cute. They were looking at my movies and talking about them. They are so fun to watch as they get older. It will be interesting to see how each of them respond to a sibling who is younger than them. I can't wait!

Snow? On the 24th of Feb. Yep. I had fun trying to get pictures of snowflakes before they melted. This one landed right on a little girl's cheek.
Now that I'm back in my home ward, and they put me in Young Women's, I get to go to the activities! Last week was a joint activity with the Young Men, so I got to hang out with my sister and brother at the skating rink! It got really smoky in there when they were getting ready for the 'blackout' skate time, but it was fun.
Now, for the biggest part of my life since last November or so...
The Play.
We had performances all last week. Every performance went really well; the kids were awesome!
For anyone who didn't make it to the play, here's a 30 second (speaking) synopsis:
There's a group of kids who get together every Friday night to eat chocolate, drink chocolate, pledge to chocolate, talk about chocolate, etc. One Friday they meet and discover that ALL the chocolate in the entire world is missing. They go on the hunt to find out where it all went. After they find the 'bad guys' who have bought all the chocolate, they sneak in to get it and get caught. They are sent to work on the plantations in Cocoabeana (the island owned by the bad guys who also are in control of the weather - they have a weather changing machine), and because of a party going on there, find a t.v. crew, trick the bad guys into revealing the whole plot of their plan to the world, and get to have as much chocolate as they want. The Choc-A-Block Club is back in business!!!
Very cute play. Most of the characters are candy bar names, the bad guys' names were weather terms. I am so glad it is over now. I didn't realize just how much of my time was spent on the play. I had a lot of fun playing the piano (and got lots of compliments), and look forward to the next play adventure I have.
For the play, I decided to dress up silly... with Becky's help to decide what I should do, here's my costume.
Many of my friends and family came to see the play (well, to see me. haha).
Thanks to everyone who came to support!!
