So on Saturday I hung out with Becky. We were discussing what to have for lunch and the topic of pastrami burgers opened up. We talked about how the pastrami burgers at Arctic Circle were WAY better than the ones at Iceberg because they had more pastrami on them (Arctic Circle has like 5 or 6 slices whereas Iceberg only has, like, 2. LAME), so we decided to go there for lunch.
We order our food and sit down to eat. We started off with fries, tater tots, and corn dogs. We got to the burgers, unwrapped them, and took a bite. I thought something was strange with my burger, and so did Becky. She opened hers up to pull back on what had slid off... and asked if I had a meat patty on mine. Sure enough, No.
We walked up to the counter, laughing at the irony of the whole situation. We were quickly helped and got new burgers WITH the meat patty on them. The employees were a little embarrassed, but we just laughed about it and told them how we just had been talking about the difference between them and Iceberg.
By the time we hit our last bites of burger, we were full. That bite we'd had without any burger on it really filled our tummies ;) What a good laugh we had! Will I go back to Arctic Circle and get the pastrami burger again? ABSOLUTELY!!! Tho I'll probably be double checking that there's a meat patty on it. Ha.
