Ah Kids!

Want to know the funniest moment of my day?

I'll tell you:

I was at the church this afternoon, practicing a song with a friend who will be singing it next week, and as we were walking out out, she and her daughter and I were talking. Her daughter is 4. The conversation went something like this: (keep in mind this happened well over 6 hours ago - so I don't recall the exact conversation anymore - but you get the gist)

"Mom, is Miss O (that's me) coming over for dinner?" looking at her mom.
My reply: "Are you making dinner? Cuz if I come over, you have to make dinner."
She grinned, "No. My mom will make it."
Mom said, "What if I don't want to be a grown up and make dinner?"
Without a moment's hesitation came the reply, "But Mom, you wear a bra!"

We were both nearly on the floor laughing. Such wonderful things the innocent children say ;)
This will be a forever joke in the lives of my friend and I. Thank you for the memory, dear one.
