First Time For Everything...

How lucky is this? I was at work yesterday, helping get stuff done and I got cut in between my toes. One of my friends, who is a nurse, happened to see me (unbeknownst to her) and I showed her what happened. She looked, sighed, and said I needed to go get stitches. I've never had stitches in my life. I now get to take stitches off my "never happened to me" list. Haha.
Yee haw.
My parents were contacted (I didn't have my phone with me) and they picked me up to take me to IHC. I walked in, filled out the paperwork, they took me right back to the room, cleaned me up, numbed the area, stitched away, wrapped it up, and updated my tetanus shot. I was done about an hour after it happened.
The only picture I can post right now is my wrapped toes. When I change the bandage today, I can take a picture of the stitches and my toes...

It wasn't really painful... I didn't feel needle pricks, or pin pricks, but I'm starting to feel the top side of my foot and it's a little weird. We shall see how I feel as the day progresses. Wish me luck!

Oh I thought it happened while you were in the water tank. That's sad that you didn't even get to do it.
