Pretty Sun

The other day (really, last week) I was out at recess and noticed something that I'd not ever seen before... a rainbow AROUND the sun! Granted, I didn't look straight at the sun, but I was wearing sunglasses and standing in the shade of a basketball backboard. Since I had a camera with me, I was able to get a few pictures of it. These were the best ones to turn out. I've sent an email to the weather guys at channel 5 to see if they can tell me why it happened and what it's called, so as soon as I hear anything I'll post it and let everyone know.

There's nothing too exciting to write about post #50... but I thought you'd enjoy seeing what happened with Ren and Stumpy after I came home from work the day after we made them... I laughed when I saw them.

They continue to "fall apart" because the weather is a bit warmer. Perhaps tomorrow I'll post another picture or two. Hahaha.

These were the 'major' events of my two week break. There were also days I went to lunch or dinner with friends, or just spent time visiting with friends. All-in-all, a very productive break from work :D

Welcome 2009!

The last two weeks have flown by! I am not ready to come back to work, but I do need money, so I decided I needed to make sure to come back ;) I had wanted to post pictures of my weeks' activities, but I realized I don't have pictures from one party - so I'll have to post pictures tomorrow. It was a good break... family, parties, friends, laughing, overall a very nice time. I look forward to the events of 2009, no matter how scary they may seem!
