Washington - Week 2

I have never seen so many squirrels running around in a town than I have this week... I saw them in every park we've been to and even one attending church yesterday. When I was here in August, I didn't see any squirrel at all, and this time - they are everywhere :)

I had some leftover pieces from the cards I made when I got here, so I designed my own card.
With Laura's creative additions, here is the final product. I really like it.

I have finished reading the Chronicles of Narnia series! Excellent books!

Last week, we went to see Green Lantern. We went on opening day, and the theater was not packed at all. A very enjoyable movie; definitely one I would see again!
(I just realized I had said something about this last week... so sorry for the repeat)

Saturday, we took the kids to see Cars 2. Very fast paced, but very fun too. I enjoyed this movie very much more than Toy Story 3!

I also mentioned last week that I have been watching the Star Trek movies. We have one more to go - the newest one (which I have already seen, but maybe after seeing the others, parts of it may make more sense), and I'll have seen them all.

I should have some great photos after this weekend from the 4th of July parties and such. It is fun being here and not really having to worry about life... just going with the flow.
I also really love the ward here. There were two people who recognized me from when I was here in August - a brother in the ward, and the RS President. The brother (I can't remember his name) even remembered my name!! There are many great people here, and I love knowing that the Gospel is true no matter where you go - even if the faces are different.
