Easter Party (Yup, a Week After the Fact)

Today we had our family Easter party at Grandma's house. I decided to try and make something fun to bring to the party (besides a bag of chips). I fried up some tortilla strips and put cinnamon sugar on them. Everyone liked them and I think Chloe won for eating the most.

As we started last year, we went to the park to have a soccer game and this year we added bubbles. Jess and Avery had a lot of fun letting the wind do all the work... it was awesome.

Chloe and Jarren had a lot of fun chasing the bubbles and then trying to blow their own bubbles.

I had fun trying to get pictures of the bubbles as they came off the wand... this one is really big.

So many pretty colors

Chloe was so cute trying to blow bubbles...

Here's a shot of the soccer action.

Some of the little boys had fun playing on the playground.

Me and the cutest (older) niece and nephew!
I love you Avery and Jordan!!

When we came back from the park, we had our egg hunt... Our beloved Uncle has now been banned from hiding the Easter eggs - he was shoving them in his pockets instead of hiding them in the yard. HAHAHA!

I was surprised when this cake showed up and everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to me. It was fun - we're celebrating as a family next week, my birthday, my cousin's birthday, and my nephew's birthday. It will be fun.

Another activity after the park was helping plant flowers in Grandma's yard. I had gone over Thursday to do some of the yard work (I got attacked by a tree, and my hands got all sorts of muddy; but it's awesome!), so today we just needed to plant some flowers. James and Robert did a great job!
